Jazz Band

Our Jazz Band class takes place in the Spring semester.  This band brings soul to campus.  The music is so fun to play and listen to.  The students get to learn new rythms, and techniques that aren't often found in the classic concert band music.  They focus a lot on improvisation giving each student the spotlight throughout the semester.  It may appear to be more sax and brass focused, but don't let that stop you from trying it out!  We  can find a place for just about any instrument in our Jazz band.
